Hands Reaching for a Telephone NAMI of Greater Chicago’s free HELPLINE provides immediate support to consumers, family members and professionals seeking information.

The HELPLINE, which is operated by knowledgeable volunteers, interns, and staff members, provides referrals for counseling, medication management, handling a crisis situation and housing information. Our referral database contains more than 1,000 resources in the Greater Chicago area that are geared towards providing assistance and support to the mental health community.
