Education

We offer courses for individuals living with a mental illness, family members, and professionals as well as mental health presentations given out in the community. All of our individual and family education programs are provided free of charge. However, we gladly accept donations to help cover the cost of materials. There is a nominal fee for professional education courses and on-site presentations.

Woman SpeakingAdditionally, we provide wallet-sized Resource Cards that list addresses and telephone numbers for critical services for persons with mental illness in the Chicago area. The annually updated cards are distributed at speaking engagements, classes, rallies, and all other NAMI Chicago events, and available to mental health service providers and agencies upon request. A Teen & Young Adult Resource Card is also available.

To enroll in any of our courses, please call our office at (312) 563-0445. We will contact you as soon as a class has been scheduled.

If you would like to request a speaker, a presentation, or printed materials, please call our office at (312) 563-0445.
