Suzanne Andriukaitis, MA, LCSW – Executive Director
Suzanne has been the Executive Director since 1994. She regularly provides education on mental health to consumers, family members, universities, community agencies, and the Chicago Police Department.
Ryan Elliott, BBA – Membership & Volunteer Coordinator, NAMIWalks Manager
Ryan has been with NAMI-GC since 2009, enthusiastically managing our volunteer program, growing our membership, and coordinating our NAMIWalk every year.
Ashley Fontaine, MSW – Education Programs Manager
Ashley holds a Master’s in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social work and was hired full-time in May 2011. She assumed the role of Fiscal Manager for the Williams Consent Decree “Moving On” Project in August 2011, and manages all of NAMI-GC’s education programs.
Betty Frazier, MHP – Administrative Assistant
Betty has been with NAMI-GC since 2001. She runs the consumer support group, coordinates Consumer Club events, and teaches Pathways in Living classes.
Alexa James, MS, MSW – Associate Director
Alexa rejoined the NAMI-GC team in January 2013 as the Associate Director. She has a Master’s in Child Development from Erikson Institute and a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University.
Edlyn Rodriguez, BA – Multi-Cultural Outreach Coordinator
Edlyn joined NAMI-GC as a part-time employee in July 2011, and co-leads the Spanish family and consumer support group. She provides Spanish language support to HELPLINE — (312) 563-0445 — callers and facilitates presentations and outreach to the Latino community.
Adele Wegner – Special Projects Coordinator
Adele was hired part-time in July 2010 and assists with memberships, NAMIWalks, Light the Darkness, and other special projects and events as they arise.
Luberta Conner-Livingston, Marlena Johnson, Sherrie Martin, Juan Pablo Rivera, Debbie Toh, Ryan Wesneski and Ashley Williams are all Outreach Workers for the Williams Consent Decree. They work in various nursing homes throughout the Chicagoland area, providing information to the residents about their rights under the consent decree.
Interns
We host interns from a variety of graduate and undergraduate programs in the Chicago area, including the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work, Loyola University School of Social Work, University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, St. Augustine College, Elmhurst College, and others.
